Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is the sixth-largest school district in the United States, serving over 270,000 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The district encompasses 24 municipalities and unincorporated areas in Broward County, Florida.

The BCPS academic calendar for the 2024-2025 school year has been approved by the School Board of Broward County. The calendar includes 180 student instructional days, which is the minimum number of days required by Florida law.

First day of school: Monday, August 19, 2024
Last day of school: Friday, May 30, 2025
Thanksgiving break: Monday, November 25 – Friday, November 29, 2024
